How Blooma came to life
The veggie patch at Bloom Early Education was a special place. It was where the children planted seeds, grew vegetables, and learned how to care for them — a place filled with laughter, nurturing, and helping hands.
One morning, right in the middle of the veggie patch, Ava, Leo, Mia and Noah spotted a tiny orange flower bud that was beginning to grow. “Let's look after it!” said Noah. They watered her every day, gave her compost and worm tea, and talked to her too — and though they didn't know it, the little flower was listening. She liked hearing the children's laughter and their happy voices, and she felt the kindness of gentle, caring hands. The more the children cared for her, the happier she became.
Then one morning, the little flower was so happy to see her friends that, for the very first time, she smiled. She gave a tiny wiggle… a little stretch… and popped right out of the veggie patch. “Hello,” she said softly. “Do you have a name?” asked Ava. The little flower didn't think so. “Well… you grew in the Bloom veggie patch,” said Ava. “What if we call you Blooma?”
Blooma loved her new friends, but every afternoon the children went home, and she missed them. So one day she asked, “Could I come home with you for an adventure?” Now Blooma visits her friends' homes and shares every story back at Bloom. Every family has different stories. Every home has different adventures. And Blooma loves them all.
Everything blooms when it is loved and cared for. 🌸
